Alyssa 1) We have learned some plants grow better than other plants in the spring, such as the sunflowers grew better than the cucumbers, petunias, and carrots. Some of the plants such as the sunflower grow better in the heat, unlike the cucumbers that grow better in the cooler weather. The daylight hours also affected the plants. They grew on the days that had more direct and longer sunlight hours. 2) What I enjoyed about the project is it was something different than writing. We had a chance to see what plants grow in Hungary, and how well they grow. I noticed Hungary’s sunlight hours are shorter that Virginia Beaches’. Casey 1) From this project, I learned a lot about plants. I learned some plants grow better in the heat, like sunflowers. Some plants grow better when it’s colder, like cucumbers. The humidity also affected the plants because not all of the plants grew when there was a high humidity. I also learned that the sunlight hours affected the plants. They all grew better on days when the sunlight hours were longer. 2) I enjoyed a lot about this project. I like how it allowed us to do something different. I have never done this in school before. I also enjoyed the fact that our whole class was able to go outside and learn about our plants, instead of just looking at them inside. It was fun to plant our plants outside. I learned how to take care of plants, my sunflowers. I was amazed to learn how fast they grow, too. My favorite part about the project was planting the seeds. I enjoyed it a lot! - Shelbi
I learned so much. For example, I learned how to plant a sunflower and how much time it takes to care and plant them. The thing I enjoyed most was working with my bestfriend Shelbi and being able to work with my other classmates while planting plants. -Justin What I Have Learned 1) I learned how to plant petunias and how much work it takes to grow them. I also learned how to make a wiki space and how to put new things on it. I also learned that Hungary has more daylight hours than Virginia. Hungary also has a lower humidity than Virginia. And I learned how to make a spread sheet. 2) I enjoyed doing something different in class than what you would usually see students doing in a classroom, such as observing my plant grow over time and designing my wiki. Briana CONCLUSION !I learned how to manage a wikispace and grow a plant even though it didn't make much progress. It's still tiny!
I enjoyed working on this project because I got to watch something grow from a seed. It's exciting to know that I will be a part of bringing beauty to the new Kellam when they replant them in two years. Mr. Biehl said we can transfer our plants if we take very good care of them.

What I LearnedWhatI learned is that planting seeds and growing them takes a lot of time and patience and that Hungary and Virginia aren’t very much different. What I EnjoyedWhat I enjoyed about this project is that I got to have fun along side of all my classmates and teachers.~Corey Conclusions Madison: I learned how to make spreadsheets. While looking at the spreadsheet, I noticed that Budapest’s daylight hours are longer than Virginia Beach’s, and I noticed that as the months went by the daylight hours got longer in Virginia Beach and Budapest. I also learned about the climates of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Budapest, Hungary. I had a lot of fun comparing plants in both of the cities, and watching our plants grow. Jordan: I learned a lot of things about this project like the rainfall is different here than there. Here we have a lot of rainfall and in Hungary there is very little rainfall. This was fun until I had to create the spreadsheet. That wasn’t very fun to me! Conclusion I learned that Hungary and Virginia have different sunlight hours. I enjoyed working with another school in Hungary and growing the plants. Justin Luralyn & Kyle:
